Intro
It’s 4 a.m., and I’ve been staring at this page for weeks—stuck between wanting to get started and not knowing how. Life’s been a whirlwind lately: transitioning from a podcast, working part-time, moving across states, and managing a family of six. Amid all the chaos, you’d think writing the introduction to my own blog would be simple. I write often (though never as often as I’d like), so hitting a creative wall didn’t make sense. Nerves, maybe. Or perhaps this moment just needed to unfold in its own time.
So, without further ado—let’s begin.
If you’re joining me from The Reflection Project podcast, thank you for coming back. If you’re new here, welcome. This space was born from a shared vision between my husband and me: to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health and to have the raw, honest conversations that often go unsaid. Here, we talk about what makes us who we are—the experiences, both beautiful and uncomfortable, that have shaped us.
There’s no judgment here. Just reflection, growth, and connection because well, every one of us carries a story etched with moments of anxiety, pain, joy, and healing. The Reflection Project is our safe space—a place to unpack those stories, explore what makes us “tick,” and remind ourselves that healing isn’t linear, but it is possible. Together, we’ll reflect, learn, and grow—one honest conversation at a time.
So, grab your favorite mug, get cozy, and settle in. This space isn’t about perfection—it’s about being human. Here, we’ll share stories, reflections, and gentle reminders that it’s okay to feel deeply and to take things one day at a time. My hope is that The Reflection Project feels like a soft place to land, a warm corner of the internet where you can breathe, feel seen, and remember that you’re never alone in your journey.
Welcome home. 🌿
